Permanent Material / Production Planner  £30-£35k (LEICESTER)

PHJ Resourcing are recruiting for one of our well established world wide clients based in South Leicester who are looking to recruit an experienced Material / Production Planner. Working at our clients site in South Leicester you will be responsible for all elements of material planning to allow the production of our clients products.


Key elements of the role are:

Inventory planning and monitoring (Aiming to minimise levels and time stock held on site before use)

Monitoring of supplier performance (Using key supplier performance Indicators and discussing and implementing improvements where required)

Working with purchasing to ensure best cost efficiencies

Managing supplier schedules

Utilising MRP and ERP systems to ensure all orders are carried out on time and to required standards

Support of the reject process to minimise them and make process improvements where applicable

Be a leading process driver and advocate of VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), Kanban processes

Work in partnership with all required departments and suppliers to achieve on time outcomes on all orders

To be successful in this role you will have good experience as a Material / Production Planner preferably within a technical manufacturing organisation and be conversant with associated systems and processes, You should have excellent communication skills and be used to dealing with suppliers directly in addition to internal departments and staff. As you would expect in this role good analytical skills, MRP / ERP experience and problem solving skills are essential.

Meeting suppliers and clients will also be part of the role and so a full driving licence is also essential for the position.

PHJ Resourcing are looking to help our well established client to recruit a Production Operative that wants to work in a team based environment with a proactive and professional attitude.


Our client manufactures and sells resin and chemical compounds from their site in south Warwickshire. They are a single site operation with an enviable reputation for quality. They offer a work environment that has a real family feel to it and where all staff are viewed as integral and valued members of the team and offered genuine career prospects and development.


Working on day shifts you will be a logical and accurate person that likes to take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work you produce. Attention to detail is vital in the role to ensure that the correct compounds and mixtures are produced and despatched to clients.


You will be working alongside other colleagues and so being able to fit into this team environment and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner is vital.

Although experience of working in related field would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. More importantly we are keen to receive applications from candidates that demonstrate accuracy in their previous work and can offer a proactive approach and a can do attitude.


The work can be quite physical at times as you will need to move barrels of product around, although mechanical handling equipment is obviously available when required.

Aftersales / Customer Service Co-Ordinator (NUNEATON)

PHJ Resourcing are working with our Nuneaton based client to recruit for an Aftersales Coordinator / Customer Service colleague.
You will be working in a modern purpose built office for a company that offers real development and career growth opportunities.
We are looking for someone who has experience of dealing with business clients on the phone and by email that is a confident communicator, is good working within a small team, comfortable with providing support to their clients and helping the sales process run smoothly.
This is not a Call Centre role and does not involve targets, its more about quality of service to the clients and having a desire to help their experience of working with our client run smoothly. Liaising with other colleagues in different departments internally will also be a large part of the role in order to pull together relevant information that will provide clients with a positive and accurate response to queries.
Although a lot of the work will be phone based you will also be heavily involved with General Office Administration ,
CRM Database Entry, Processing Orders, Adding Purchase Invoices and other tasks.

Required skill base essential to the role:

·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·High level of attention to detail

CNC Miller Programmer / Setter £27000-£32000 (Nights), (COVENTRY)

We are working on behalf of our client in Coventry that offers a comprehensive range of engineering and manufacturing solutions to wide and varied client base.

Our client is going through some exciting development and growth currently and as part of this process we are looking to help them find a skilled CNC Miller Programmer /Setter that can assist them to ensure they provide the quality and reliability of service that they are renowned for.


Working as an integral part of a small team you will be working on a night shift from 1800-0600 4 nights a week. The role will require you to be flexible in your approach and have the ability to adapt to situations and be proactive in suggesting and developing solutions to issues as they may arise.


A key driver for our client is valuing and listening to all members of staff and this ethos has meant that there is

continual staff development environment and has ensured that opportunities to improve processes and work structures are maximised.

The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with setting Fanuc controlled milling machines and if they have experience

of Mazak controls as well this would be viewed as beneficial. Preferably from a castings environment, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to understand the design briefs and work instructions and take responsibility for setting the machines to produce the required components to the required tolerances and in the most cost and time efficient manner.
